Many people don’t realize that there are two general types of arthritis that strike most people who suffer: osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Both can cause a great deal of pain and advance to a crippling degree, but they’re caused by completely different things. Natural remedies for arthritis pain and swelling that you might use need to be for the specific type of arthritis that you have.
Osteoarthritis:
This is the arthritis that’s caused from wear and tear to the joints. An injury can also cause this type of arthritis. As we age, the fluids in the joints don’t work as well and can even start to disappear, allowing the cartilage and bone to actually rub and wear away. This causes pain and swelling in the joints, which is essentially what arthritis is.
An injury that has damaged the area can cause the same pain and swelling. Sometimes the skin and flesh around the joint will swell and turn red, an indication that the joint is very inflamed. Natural remedies for arthritis are aimed at relieving the swelling, which will in turn reduce the pain.
Hydrotherapy, such as swimming or relaxing in a warm whirlpool, can greatly minimize the pain and swelling caused by osteoarthritis. It can allow you to get some exercise and strengthen the muscles that control the joint, so that the muscles can take more of the pressure of movement to ease the burden on the joint.
Because often exercise is painful or impossible, the water, which cushions movement and keeps it from being high-impact or jerky, can help with exercise and strengthening. Any type of exercise that doesn’t aggravate the swelling even out of the water can help strengthen the muscles and relieve pain.
Rheumatoid Arthritis:
This type of arthritis is also common, but isn’t caused from wear and tear. Rather, this is the body’s immune system working overtime and mistaking the synovial fluid in the joints and their tissues for foreign bodies that must be attacked and purged from the system. The body essentially attacks itself, causing severe swelling and pain.
The medical community doesn’t know the exact causes of this or any immune-response disease, so there is no cure. Natural remedies for arthritis are aimed at only relieving the symptoms.
Assemblage Point Healing and Gem Therapy:
One of the most often overlooked natural remedies for arthritis involves crystals and/or Assemblage Point shifting. This Point is the vortex of the body’s life energy, and when it shifts out of its proper position, imbalances in the body’s systems, both physical and mental, result. Shifting it back into place can correct those imbalances.
Since rheumatoid arthritis is a long-term condition that’s caused by the body doing something it shouldn’t be doing, shifting the Assemblage Point back into a proper place can help with this condition. Gem therapy, when done by an expert in the field, can also help cool “hot” areas of the body, like the joints, and offer relief from the root cause outward, which is likely to be a more lasting relief than something that just aims at fixing a symptom.
